Professor Plamen Angelov from Lancaster University gave a talk titled: Autonomous Learning for Autonomous Systems on Friday the 24th of June.
The talk explored novel autonomous learning method used for online image processing. The presented approach required very little user setup and had almost no tunable gains. Instead, the learning algorithm automatically adapts depending on environment in the picture.
Professor Plamen Angelov leads the Intelligent Systems Research within the School of Computing and Communications in Lancaster University. He received his PhD from Sofia Technical University and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).
